2007 schedule with the team, bringing his total to 24 points events.Mark will add the Aug. 5 race at Pocono, the Sept. 8 race at Richmond and the Sept. 23 race at Dover to his schedule in the No. 01 Chevrolet.
"It has been nothing but a pleasure driving that U.S. Army Chevrolet for [crew chief] Ryan Pemberton and this team," Mark said in a statement. "The three races we've added are tracks where I typically enjoy racing. We were already set to run the first race at those tracks, and now we'll look forward to going back for a second time."
Mark has started eight of the 11 Nextel Cup races this season and sits 15th in the point standings. Rookie Regan Smith is driving in the races Mark sits out.
Smith's next race for the No. 01 team, which is eighth in owner points, is June 24 at Infineon Raceway.
