| Few fans or drivers were surprised as Mark led 152 of 197 laps to win the Alltel 200. It was his 11th win in Grand National races at North Caroline Speedway. "We had a great car," Mark said. "It seems like it always works here'" Mark, who is in his last season of competition in NASCAR's No 2 series, leads all drivers with 41 career wins. Mark wasn't so fortunate with his Winston Cup car. He had to requalify on Saturday after he brushed the retaining wall during Friday's first round. He said he had the accelerator firmly on the floor when he felt the car hit the concrete. "I ran out of talent before I ran out of nerve," Mark said. |
