I am doing a scince fair experiment about the effects of drafting and am using 1:24 scale die cast cars. I am having trouble because I am not sure how to show it. I was thinking of first doing one car by itself and then showing how the aerodynamics change when another car comes and "drafts" behind it. To create wind I am thinking of using the blowing end of a vacuum cleaner.

Good job this season. No you didn't do as well as last year but alot of accidents resulted in alot of dnf's. The Spring race at Bristol was one I thought you could have won if you hadn't got caught up in a crash. I think you will bounce back in 2004 with hopefully a strong run at Daytona or even your first 500 title. I had ticket's to the 2002 Coca-Cola 600 and that was one of the best races I have ever seen.

Hi. I'm a funeral director in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada recently a young man who died at the age of 29, this man has been hospitalized since the age of 12. And was a huge fan of Mark's and all his accomplishments. George was such a fan that he was asked to be cremated wearing his favorite shirt and hat both Team Viagra proudly displaying Number 6. First of all I would like to say that NASCAR is one, if not the best sport out there! I wanted to see if any Mark Martin collectors out there, and Mark himself, know where the 1980, and 1981, die cast cars are? The 1980 car, numbered 02, was the car Mark won the pole at Nashville and Richmond. The 1981 car, sponsored by Apache Stove (also 02), was the car Mark drove his first complete season in Winston Cup. Hi Marky Baby, it's me again, you little sweetheart from Steelton, Pa. I don't know what I am going to do this sunday. There is NO RACE. I will be in Mark Martin withdraw for a whole week and then some. But, I know it is half season and you are getting ready for the Pepsi 500 at Daytona. Hey Mark, I am your biggest fan. I won a contest in the Clarion-Ledger paper out of Jackson MS about my favorite ran car driver. It was published. I have lots of collectibles. I even have the Nascar #6 tag on my Ford Sport Trac. I also work/know some old friends of yours. Ms Linda and her then husband(can never remember his name) owned the dirt track in Batesville where you ran. I work with their daughter Loren/Lori. She has shown me pictures and articles and told stories about you. She and I work at a fitness center in Flora MS. Sorry I just had to add a comment about FOX's telecast of the Coke 600. Mark was second in points last year and defending champion of the race, yet when he began he early charge through the field, no mention of it. They did mention he hit the pits with some problem and he was a lap down, but no follow up to what the problem was and if they fixed it. Mark deserves better and if I wasnt so sure he was going to be a contender for the win week after week I wouldnt watch FOX anymore. Jr. was 40 some laps down and they kept coming back to him. Its a joke. Keep your chin up Mark, that championship is in your future.

I am a long time fan, and even took a tour of your old hometown, Batesville, when I was vacationing in Arkansas in '97. Got some good pics of the signs your neighbors there put up honoring you. Also got to participate in the big classic car shindig and parade around town. Glad to see you show some of that old time fire last year when you were racing for the championship. My hope is that you will overcome the early season hard luck in '03 and finish well again this year. Tip: Maybe stand close to Curt and let some (though not all) of that aggressiveness rub off on you. I still think you have the skill and touch that will provide championships.
