Hi, and thanks for coming to Mark's guestbook. As you can see, many folks have stopped
by to sign the guestbook. You can always sign Mark's guestbook by clicking
right here. I apologize for using a form
to write in Mark's guestbook but for the past two years, spammers have been killing
me with crap and marketing BS no gives a turkey about.
You can view previous years guestbooks by clicking on the year links just above. There are no entries for 2005 and 2006 as I had the guestbook shut down because of the spammers. Hopefully my new system will help keep all that unwanted junk out, It is a bit more work for me, but I know how much Mark's fans want to express themselves sometimes so I want to have that option open.
If you would like to help me out in support of this web site for Mark, please click on some of the Mark Martin/NASCAR ads I have on the home page and also on the "What's New" page. I receive a pittance for each click. But it all helps me keep this site going. As you can see there are no annoying pop-up ads or spam litter anywhere on this site. Your help is always appreciated.
You will notice that the guestbook entries stopped at March 20, 2007.
It was at this point I consolidated the response form, guestbook and blog all under the blog
You can enter your comments there.
You can get there by clicking here

Alysia Sweeney <sxywmn1234@aol.com> Mansfield, OH, - USA - Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 01:07:21 (EDT) I just LOVE.LOVE.LOVE Mark Martin... I know he isn't fond of Bristol, but to me its the most spectacular race & Martin is great on the short tracks...I know family is in the equation, but after all, HE IS leading the points & is doing so much better off without Roush... I honestly think if he'd have left 5 years ago, he'd be a points champion ( aside from the fact that in my opinion he won this years Daytona 500 ).. GO MARK..... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! race Bristol.. If not for yourself, but for the fans... You are on top of the world & who cares about that damn rocking chair!!!!! I dont want you in it.. You deserve a championship more than any other racer in Nextel..Please dont give up, I only watch because you race..REMEMBER.. DALE SR WON THE DAYTONA FINALLY AFTER HOW MANY WINS IN OTHER RACES & CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!!! ITS NOT A LOST CAUSE.. YOU are just as competitive now as ever... ( if not more ) please don't give up... screw Waltrip & McReynolds.... You can set another record..OLDEST CHAMP EVER!!!! ( you are definitely the best there is ) LOVE YOU!!!!!!! alysia sweeney... sxywmn1234@aol.com |

Carl Strye <cstryejr@aol.com> Nazareth, Pa - USA - Monday, March 19, 2007 at 10:25:55 (EDT) Mark, Congratulations on a great season! But, what are you trying to do to us (fans)??? I have been a fan for years and now you have a ride that could win the championship and you decide to not run a full season? I know your committed to that before the season and I understand the long hours and many miles traveled and that everyone needs a break once in a while........but when the stars are all aligned and your poised to make a championship run in a championship leading car.......help!!!! Your attitude is great, you say your not racing the points, but that is when everything falls into place. Don't race the points, keep the attitude and a championship will follow. As a fan, I don't think I could think any other way and I am sure the thousands of Mark martin fans feel the same way. Hey buddy, what do you say you help us out on this one............. Nazareth's biggest Mark Martin Fan, Carl |

Robin Mizell <acgman49@yahoo.com> Metropolis, IL - USA - Monday, March 19, 2007 at 08:52:53 (EDT) Mark Martin is the Man. I have been a fan since 1992 when I started watching NASCAR racing. I picked him as a driver because of his conduct on the track. Other drivers punt and say it is okay and then whine when they get punted. Mark neither punts or whines and he still has more wins than a lot of the "champions". He is the People's Champion! Go Mark!! |

Thanks for all you've done Mark. Leaving on top is only fitting. Go help your boy. Be another Mark!!! Karl J. Skindingsrude>br> Owner NAPA Auto Parts Columbia Falls, Montana |

George C. (Curt) Melton <cmelton18@cox.netTucson> Tucson, Arizona - USA - Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 01:31:57 (EDT) Have been Mark Martin fan for at least 20 years. ASA, NASCAR, Busch, the whole shooting match. There has never been a driver with the talent, integrity & talent of Mark Martin. I drove from Tucson, AZ to Batesville in August 2006 and visited the Mark Martin Museum and dealership. Funniest thing was, I ended up buying a new Mustang from the dealership. Will be there in April, hopefully to have Mark autograph the car on the dash board and maybe the jackets I have purchased over the years. Have purchased front bricks at the dealership also. Your a good man, Mr. Martin, We wish you only the best. But, you know Mark, its darn hard to see you driving a bow tie special. Sincerely, Curt & Dodie Melton Tucson, AZ PS: We are getting to old to be chasing the circuit as we have in the past. We are now in our 70's (her) & high 60's (me). |

Barbara Taylor <btaylor2006@rochester.rr.com> Marion, NY - USA - Friday, March 16, 2007 at 14:23:25 (EDT) I have been a fan for more than 10 years. It started because you drove a Ford. After, it didn't matter what you drove. You are definetly a great driver but an even better person. I have never had the privilege to meet you in person but I hope it might happen in the future. Keep up the great work and I do hope you will run the full season and run for the championship. You deserve it more than anyone else. |

Judy Shields <jshields229@yahoo.com> , SC - USA - Thursday, March 15, 2007 at 13:23:48 (EDT) Mark, I know there a huge number of your fans that would like to see you run a full schedule this year, and I am one of them! I lived in Mtn. Home, AR, for a number of years - children born, raised and two of them still live in AR. Oldest daughter, Chris, lives in Fox; and my son, Mike Koch, lives in Mtn. Home. Mike had his first stock car when he was 15 (now 43). He raced a number of tracks in AR, including Flippin and Batesville. If my memory serves me correctly, the two of you have been on the track together - So does that make you our favorite driver? You bet it does! Plus being a 'home town boy'! Mike is racing in ARCA now, pretty much a 'one man' operation. But when you have racing fuel instead of blood in your veins, you do whatever it takes to get on the track! Good luck, Mark, and I for one will understand if you do run the limited schedule, even though I shall be disappointed! Judy |

Bill Ott <ottjcmo@aol.com> Jefferson City, MO - USA - Sunday, March 11, 2007 at 11:28:37 (EDT) I fully understand your position in your decision to make this your last year of racing. We all have to hang it up sometime. You are a true American hero, looked up to by a huge majority of fans and all Nascar drivers. You have the respect of everyone involved in racing. One last plea from an old man. I realize going out on top is in itself an accomplishment. What a way to leave the sport. Only problem is all of us out here that watch you week after week. Us old guys that you give hope to that it is never too late, where’re not too old, too slow or too tired to hang in there. It’s within your reach. If you are still points leader when your first missed race comes around I would like to see you stay for a few more. It’s in your blood. I think it will hit you when they drop the green and the points leader is not there. Lost forever with no chance of ever getting it back. Nascar beat you out of the 500, only you can beat you out of the championship. You have the entire Nascar nation behind you. Please don’t let us down. Kick their young asses. No matter what you decide, we’ll still love you old man (I’m 64). You be da man. |

James Duszynski <jeddld@lakefield.net> Two Rivers, Wi - USA - Friday, March 09, 2007 at 12:20:43 (EST) Mr. Martin, You are a class act and are in a class with the likes of Dale Sr, Richard Petty, Harry Gant and Alan Kulwicki. Have a great and safe season. |
|
Karyn <alissamagic@aim.com> Linville, NC - USA - Thursday, March 08, 2007 at 14:31:02 (EST) Dear Mark Martin, You are my hero. You have shown more dignity and class in all your years of racing than any other driver in the history of NASCAR. More than any other sports star ever. And what's better, you came back the following week after Daytona to show you have a love for racing and talent, too, by putting yourself at the top of the Championship standings, despite an upsetting week before. You are the only driver who has the utmost respect of anyone and EVERYONE involved in NASCAR. The other drivers, the crew members, the owners, the sponsers and most of all the fans. You are loved by everyone because of the way you carry yourself on and off the track. You have earned more respect with your character than most drivers would even dream of getting. Everyone is very upset with NASCAR officials with the fact that they are quick to throw a caution when there is a piece of debris on the apron of the track, but when there is a wreck involving numerous cars, including one upside down, they let it go. However, you climbed out of your car with a smile on your face! That is a true driver! I, like everyone else, would LOVE to see you race the entire season. However, I have to respect your reason for not. You gave us that "one more year" last year. It is your family's turn to have you to themselves. Now we will turn our encouragement and support to your son, Matt, who if he is half the driver you are, he will win that championship for you! And the fact that you moved to Chevy instead of Ford. I am a Ford girl, however, I am more a Mark Martin fan! #6 or #01!!! It makes no difference to me! Just as long as you are driving! I grew up in Daytona Beach and have a picture of you and me when I was about 14 years old (I am now 31). That is when I first became a fan. And I have stayed true to you ever since. Now I live in North Carolina and come to watch you in Bristol, Charlotte, Rockingham and Richmond. I was there when you won the All Star Challenge and I'll be there even after your have put up your steering wheel forever. Maybe you can join Rusty next year commentating! You are the best NASCAR has ever had! Your integrity has proven that! Thanks for the memories! Kevin Harvick may have won the Daytona 500..... But you won the hearts of America!!! |
|
Larry Atlanta, Ga - USA - Wesnesday, March 07, 2007 at 03:49:14 (EST) Mark, I wish you well this year. You have been my driver since Richard Petty retired in 1992. I like your class and sportsmanship. I was at Daytona and it was heart breaking to see your lose but to me you were the winner the way you handled your self. I have been going to races for over 50 yrs and I must say your a class act in your conduct on and off the track. Mark drive your limited schedule that you want to do and spend time with your family and help your son with his up coming career.I am retired and it`s not all bad.I think that Nascar needs to slow down and smell the roses of what brought the sport to what it is it`s drivers like you and loyal fans. Mark I know the champion ship has eluded you but a true nascar fan knows that your are a true champion at your trade. Good luck Mark and be the true champion that you are! |

Mike Reed <mreedo1973@verizon.net> Bridgeton, NJ - USA - Saturday, March 03, 2007 at 22:31:09 (EST) Just to let you know Mark, how much I appriciate your outlook and freshness in todays sports world. It broke mine and my families heart when we lost the 500. I'm over it now, but being a mailman, the March 5th issue reminded me of that day, as each one I delivered had a Pennzoil (who you drove for last year) ad on the back cover showing how close we came. Next year, OK? |
|
Jim Sawhill <JimSawhill@yahoo.com> Riverview, FL - USA - Saturday, March 03, 2007 at 11:45:11 (EST) Hmmm... What can I say -- I'm a Mark Martin fan that's torn -- since I'm a Ford man. I am wondering if you will see Ginn switch cars (At least Mark didn't do a Dale Jarrett and go with a TOY! :) I'm rooting for him and I bet Jack is rooting for him, too. Jim |

Rick Padgett <jrpadgett@charter.net> GA - USA - Saturday, March 03, 2007 at 10:24:17 (EST) Mark, I have been a fan since you started with Jack Roush back in the late 80's. You're an awesome driver, but an even better man. You are what I would refer to as a "Role Model". Who really wants their kid to grow up with attitude like Tony Stewart or Dale Jr or Kevin Harvick. They are spoiled brats, cry babies! Even Dale Senior was a brat. He could spin you out and call it, (just racin). But you spin him, and you're a dirty SOB. Mark, keep it up. I'd like to see you go for the championship one more time, but I can respect your decision. The way Nascar is now, a trophy isn't what it used to be anyway. It is becoming more like WWF, where drama and entertainment is valued more than skill, ability, and character. For years, Nascar was considered a Redneck thing. Seems as though Nascar is trying to keep that opinion alive and well. I see it as more of a Soap Opera. It's a shame that in trying to compete with the NFL ratings, they are destroying the sport. Yes, they have grown, and have done some great things. But it seems to me that they are alienating the traditional and loyal fans, for some new, finicky yuppie generation that will stop watching if there is no brash young driver winning or crying or cussing. Oh well, just my rant. Mark Marting Rules, (go get up Mark). Rick |

So I had to make a decision on whether to continue to follow you or not. I decided on the day you announced you was leaving Jack that I would continue to cheer for you. I know you dont want to run for the championship. But I hope you will reconsider if you continue to run as good as you are. |

Roger Mainville <rogerreal@msn.com> Pocahontas, AR USA - Sunday, February 25, 2007 at 22:40:59 (EST) Mark, this is Roger Mainville,20 years you fan, from Pocahontas, AR. Now that you represent the U.S. ARMY, I thought you would be interested to know how some of our fine men ,and women from Arkansas units are doing. The 417th is still deployed in Iraq, as is the 185th Aviation wing, of the Army National Guard, from N. Littlerock. My son-in law, Adam Childers W4, Blackhawk pilot is with the 185th. They took a heavy hit in the past few weeks, with the loss of several Arkansans, Adams, Captain, First Sargent, and several other members of his wing. In all, we have lost 4 birds from the 185th. They are stationed north of Bagdad, in Balad,Iraq. A incouraging message, or note, and maybe a poster of you in the ARMY car, would greatly raise their spirits. They tune into the races everyweek, thru the AFTN. Boy Nascar should be glad they were'nt in Daytona with their Blackhawks, and Apaches, they were "T'd". Anything you could do for our home town, and alll the fine troops we have in harms way, would be greatly appreciated. Your Loyal Fan, forever Roger J. Mainville ps: I'll be in LV for the race pulling for you |

Felicia Combs <artistchr@centurytel.net> Willow Springs, MO. - Sunday, February 25, 2007 at 20:26:44 (EST) I just want to say....Go Mark! My husband talked me into a fantasy race game with a local radio station in West Plains. I put you, Mark, on my fantasy team. Then my husband tried to talk me into taking you off since you did not have a full schedule. I said no. Confidence and experience is a winning combination. I believe in Mark and it will work out. |

Gary A. Mondello <Mondelloga@comcast.net> Jacksonville, Florida - Sunday, February 25, 2007 at 20:05:52 (EST) Just wanted to say that was the best Daytona 500, I can remember. The only thing that could have made it better would have been Mark crossing the finish line first. Mark you're a class act on the track as well as off the track. Thanks for all you've done for NASCAR and the fans. |

Stephanie Kimmey <ostephaniescharm@aol.com> New Oxford, PA USA - Sunday, February 25, 2007 at 16:57:04 (EST) Hi there, I was just hoping to spread the message... I have enclosed and copied the two messages I sent to a Nascar Nextel e-mail address... I'm so disgusted by this... I thought I'd share it with you... I am having no luck finding the official rules and regulations book, or a web site, or even a link for the Nascar Nextel Series. I have some general knowledge of how "officials" must follow a typical or standard set of "rules and regulations", or at least have to follow some sort of "code"... And, I find it so hard to believe that they have that much freedom in calling a caution based on a personal, "case by case" decision... There can be no leniency, or confusion on "HOW AND WHEN A CAUTION MUST BE CALLED", it truly takes away the equality of each and every driver on the track. Calling a caution must be determined according to a specific set of rules and regulations, and not be swayed by the Driver, the Crowd, or the Sponsers... I am truly saddened by believing that... Had it been any of the "known to be more aggressive drivers" in the same exact situation... they would have forced NASCAR to sway the decision, and it would have been reversed... You would have gone back to the time line of the "initial wreck"... and been forced to call a caution at that time. Unless, the rules specifically state that is not the case, I would be ashamed of the decision the Official Nascar Nextel made. It seems that decision was not made in accordance with any "official rules" that may or may not be in place to keep a level of "FAIR PLAY" for all the drivers, not just the drivers who make more noise... I'll keep looking for any information that states in concrete what the RULES are... or possibly start a movement in making sure they are defined from here on... Honestly, I just can't believe how they made a calling like that, it makes you shake your head, and I'm sure I'm not the only one... Signed a fan loosing faith in your ability to be fair... Stephanie Kimmey the second one being... Is it true? Was it the same guy, Robin Pemberton, who didn't make the "final call" on the caution for the wreck in the final lap of this years Daytona 500, that kept Mark Martin from winning the race, Is he the same guy who cost Martin the Championship in 1990, buy screwing up the restrictor plate for the team? Come on.... If this is true... you have to admit, it seems pretty fishy... Please, please set me straight if I am mistaken in my information, because this truly seems as if it is a malicious act towards Martin... Stephanie Kimmey |

Mechelle Smith <chelio@msn.com> Stanton, KY USA - Sunday, February 25, 2007 at 11:31:07 (EST) The site is great. Thanks for supporting Mark he is truly a driver worthy of respect. I would have liked to see some comment on the Daytona 500 fiasco. If that had been Dale everyone would have protested. Thanks for your site. |

Jim LaFlair <laflairs@bardstowncable.net> Bardstown, KY USA - Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 10:04:03 (EST) I am new to NASCAR and Daytona 500 was the first race I ever watched. I am retired from the US Army so I cheered for Mark Martin and the #01 car all the way. The US Army couldn't have found a better, classier, more professional driver than Mark Martin. He is a class act and someone the soldiers can root for each weekend. As the final laps of the Daytona 500 were underway I couldn't help but think about the soldiers in Iraq that were on there feet rooting for their hero! |

Donald Howier <dhosier1@hughes.net> Fort Atkinson WI USA - Friday, February 23, 2007 at 20:28:45 (EST) I did'nt what address to make these coments! nascar did a number on you in the daytona 500 race by not throwing the caution (as dictated by their won rule) at the end of the race. I feel very ssorry for you in that i think you won the race. i wish there was something i could do. keep racing djh |

Mark Royer <maroyer@bbse.com> Sacramento, California USA - Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 14:58:36 (EST) I saw this website, and thought that you might be able to pass this along to Mark. I have enjoyed NASCAR racing for a very long time. I have never been a MM fan, but then again I have never been a driver fan. I have always wanted to see a good race, raced clean, without the company and officials getting g in the way, or making the wrong call. I have watched the company make a number of "innovations" that have not made the sport better. This years Dayton 500 was the last straw for this NASCAR fan. Here is the email that I sent to NASCAR. Please pass this on to the big bosses. This is simple. You have lost a lifelong NASCAR fan. I struggled to see it back in the day when the networks did not want to cover "the redneck sport". I started with it in the King Petty years, back in the days when there were actually manufacturer parts in the race cars. I saw Dale Earnheart's rookie race. I hung on through the fast years, and understood the decision on the restrictor plates. I didn't like it, but I understood it. I grieved with the deaths of many drivers, and I cheered with many a checked flag. I have gone to races, and watched more than I can remember. Today you killed it, with a lie. A wreck occurs, a yellow flag is raised, and the field is frozen. No racing to the yellow. It is too dangerous. That is the rule that you have given to us for years. You lied. Mark Martin lost the race because of it, and NASCAR doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to admit the mistake, and tell Mark that he won the race. Then again, I think that intestinal fortitude left NASCAR with the beginning of restrictor plates. Now I have too. Mark Royer Sacramento, California |

Nick Preli<npreli@yahoo.com> Hayes Va , USA - Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 15:50:50 (EST) I would like to see as much of Mark in his FORDS rather then his other brand car. I would like to know one day why he left Ford to be with them since Ford really needs him. I am not upset that he left Roush, but rather the leaving of Ford. If anyone can help me understand why this happen it would be nice to know. It would be ok if his Ginn guys switched to Fords the better brand. |

Catherine Wilson<crazymaxcat@yahoo.com> KingGeorge Va , USA - Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 13:39:03 (EST) i just think mark should complain to nascar he should have won the race they should have thrown the yellow flag when the crashes started to happen, but mark is not a complainer he is a good old boy and i love him. Best of luck Mark. |

Angela Mudd <amudd@surgenortruck.com> Bath, Ontario, Canada - Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 10:57:00 (EST) I am actually a Dale Jr. fan, however I've always liked Mark Martin and although I know he's sick of the entire Daytona 500 conversation, I just wanted him to know that in my mind he won the Daytona 500 and I wish him all the best in all of his future endeavors. |

Parker Dressler <soadfanparker@yahoo.com> Orange, Ca USA - Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 01:24:38 (EST) Great informative site. The Daytona 500 2007 was a hearbreaker but a good run for the 01 team. I of course was listening to marks radio on track pass and it was bittersweet. I will add your site to my favs and monitor it during the year. I hope Mark is 1st in the points at Bristol so he will HAVE to run the whole season. I can at least dream. |
|
Terry Schulze <tschulze@sphereone.net> Mt. Vernon IN USA - Monday, February 19, 2007 at 21:17:59 (EST) Mark you won that race Sunday. Nascar did a bad thing not throwing the yellow flag. Oh, I forget you're not a Earnheart or a Childress driver or Tony S.You are the best. The good Lord will reward the best and burn the worst. Keep driving hard my friend. You are a winner in my books. See you soon at the track. |

Janet Massey <jkm303@suddenlink.net> Whitesville, WV - USA - Monday, February 19, 2007 at 11:22:47 (EST) Your site is great! However, NASCAR is not!! Each year they do just a litttle more to destroy the sport. Consistency has to be a part of day to day operations for NASCAR, but it's not. The real winner of the Daytona 500, according to the rules that have been established by the NASCAR governing body, is Mark Martin. What a shame and what a sham!! After years of watching NASCAR, I'll probably find better things to do with my time, as I feel like watching NASCAR will be like watching professional wrestling. NASCAR has forgotten a word that must be an important part of its structure - integrity. Congrats, Mark. I saw the race. You won it, no doubt! |

Terry Kaiser <tkaiser@cogeco.ca> St. Catharines, Ontario Canada - Monday, February 19, 2007 at 10:29:33 (EST) Dear NASCAR management, I have been a NASCAR fan for many years and it is sad to see such a rough start to a new season. In particular I am extremely upset at the finish to this years Daytona 500. I think if you were to replay the caution flags during the race you would see that the flag is waved the “instant” something happens (car sliding off the track, crash etc.). The major crash at the end of the race didn’t draw a yellow until the race had ended. The yellow should have been displayed as soon as there was contact with the #5 car and the #17 car. It should have been evident to your officials that this was going to be serious incident and seconds count in rescue and ensuring the safety of the drivers (can upside down, 5 cars crashing). Had the officials followed their previous pattern during the race of displaying the yellow at the start of an incident, the outcome of the race would have been different. The idea of a green/white/checkered finish is a great idea but it was very poorly executed this year at Daytona and a very poor impressions of how NASCAR operates. Terry Kaiser. cc Ginn Racing, Mark Martin |

Dave Olson <dwolson@southern.edu> Chattanooga, TN - USA - Monday, February 19, 2007 at 10:29:33 (EST) Mr. Martin: Last week was a rather sleezy one for Nascar. I would like to thankyou for whiping that sludge out or our rearview mirror. I know you were deeply disappointed that you did not win. I wasn't even a Mark Martin fan and I was pulling for you. When the race began you had some fans, during the last ten laps 90% of us were Martin fans. After your post-race interview 99% of us were Mark Martin fans. I was refreshing to see a real gentleman in the sport- no yelling, cussing, blaming others, or throwing things. Anyone can be a good interview after a win but you showed uncommon dignity and courage despite your disappointment. I sincerely hope you are not the last of the gentlemen in Nascar. The sport could use more people like you. It might seem strange but in near victory you became more famous then if you had won. Had you won we would have said "I'm happy he won the Daytona 500. In near victory we will always remember you as that man of courage and dignity, the gentleman of Nascar, the one who showed us disappointment does not have to translate into crazy behavior, the one who showed us that playing by the rules can be rewarding. I can't remember who did win the race, but I remember you and your post-race interview. Go get'em Mr. Martin, we are all your fans now. Dave Olson |

Adam Kissiah <ADAM321K@aol.com> Merritt Island, Fl - USA - Monday, February 19, 2007 at 09:10:14 (EST) To all: In my opinion Mark Martin was the winner of the 2007 Daytona 500 Race on February 18. According to my understanding of the official NASCAR "overtime" rules, after a re-start, they must run two laps under green and then a winner would be declared. If, however, conditions or incident(s) should occur that requires "yellow flag" status, then the race is ended AT THAT INSTANT. The waving of the yellow flag by a human being, who may be confused or biased, only gives notice that "yellow flag" conditions are in effect, which in this case should have been a victory flag for Mark Martin. NASCAR officials should immediately intervene in the decision and declare Mark Martin the winner , which he so richly deserves. Adam Kissiah Merritt Island, Fl |

Alan Heikkila <finnranger@comcast.net> Merritt Island, Fl - USA - Monday, February 19, 2007 at 09:10:14 (EST) You won the 500, nascar should have thrown the yellow flag. The officals suck. |

A Fan <MLFAIRCHID20@aol.com> - USA - Monday, February 19, 2007 at 04:34:52 (EST) I was disappointed by the race as I sat there waiting for the YELLOW FLAG!! I wanted you to win. Kevin Harvick has never been a favorite of mine and now I feel even less for him. This race reminds me of the race last summer when Dale Jr. had the win and at the last moment got bumped and lost the race. How many more Daytona's will you be able to race in???? I think this was your day and it was stolen from you. |

Joe Derwin <blueadmiral@msn.com> Harrison, NY - USA - Monday, February 19, 2007 at 12:47:14 (EST) I just wanted to say that you drove a great race today. Although I am only a sometimes NASCAR fan, I love racing. Seeing drivers that have given so much to racing finally get the big one is always exciting. I feel bad for you that it was just a yard short today. Good luck the rest of the season. |

Mark you will be the best driver teacher in the history of nascar, I hope with all my heart you succeed with Ginn. Your straight up, God fearing, honest and true to the sport.I look forward to seeing some of your protege on the track, from an old Earnhardt fan........goood luck and god speed |

Brenda Hardwick <brendaannhardwick@yahoo.com> Malvern, AR USA - Friday, January 01, 2007 at 11:27:09 (EST) I have a 12 year old daughter that loves to watch you race, when you have to leave the track for a reason, she is done for the day also. Is there any way to officially ask for a picture of you or your car? I am a divorced mother of two (I'm afraid to tell you who the other girl likes to see drive), I have tried to find a fan club but haven't found one to get anything. I would gladly pay a small fee. Thanks, Brenda |
