Mark had a good weekend in
Charlotte, posting a second-place finish in the BGN
race behind Matt Kenseth, and finishing fifth in the
Winston Cup race. Mark had this to say about the weekend's racing: "We had a great weekend in the Winn-Dixie car. The tire change threw us a curve and we didn't recover from it as well as we might have, but all in all, we ran a lot better today than I thought we would." On his performance in the Winston Cup race, Mark commented: "We had a few problems in the pits, but we also made up a lot of ground there. The car was pretty good in the second half of the race. It was not as fast as some of those guys, but we could hold our own and we made a pretty good recovery from the beginning of the race." |
